Payam Boromand was born in 1984 in Iran. He graduated from Azad University of Art, Faculty of Arts in 2007, B.A in painting.

Iranian Cartoonist, Illustrator. He is a main member of some international journalism and arts associations, such as: (CFP) France, (Cartoon Movement) Netherlands, (Cagle.com) USA. He has been working as a cartoonist in Iranian reformist newspapers and has also been cooperating with a couple of weekly magazines. He is currently working at the Peivast magazine and he had worked with many newspapers and magazines in Iran such as: Etemad, Shargh, Ghanoon, Hamshahri, Asreertebat and…
On 2014 he came to Vienna to study at the University of Vienna Art history M.A. Now he lives in Vienna.
His drawings had been published in many foreign newspapers and magazines
